A FOREST BIRD NEVER WANTS A CAGE

Forests and nature are a part of our soul.  There is something so profound about the serene isolation that you feel in the middle of nowhere; in the middle of a forest.  In the forest, there are no boundaries.

On a search for that isolation, we stumbled upon the Old LA Zoo: an abandoned area that has now been turned into a popular hiking destination.  It is arguably a hidden gem, especially for photographers.  These cages once housed lions (and tigers, and bears, oh my!), but are now beautiful ivy-entwined desolate structures - the perfect contrast to a whimsical dress.

"A forest bird never wants a cage."
- Henrik Ibsen
