In California we are utterly spoiled with good weather almost all year round. Palm trees and cacti dot the dessert landscape as frequently as pine trees in the Pacific Northwest and a beautiful March day becomes as temperate as mid-July. Gotta love sunny so-cal :)
And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.
